BREAKING NEWS


Newly renamed Rush Collegiate Ministries, wanted to do something that would make an a greater impact on the country. Minister Redeem Robinson, came to RUSH Campus Ministries at the time wanting some assistance to start a campus ministry. RCM begin giving him advice and then President Pace had an idea he felt that Minister Robinson and other leaders could just partner with RUSH for assistance and then after much prayer President Pace told Minister Robinson, "How about we just start RUSH at those selected schools. So without further hesistation we are proud to announce our Townson University Chapter and Coppin State University Chapter to start its process in August of 2012. They are the first chapters to be started under the name RUSH Collegiate Ministries. Now all three campuses will be working together. Administrative Secretary Lytesha Stuckey states, "We are looking for more universities that have a desire to bring RUSH to there college/universities as well.

BREAKING NEWS

During the past two days the leaders of RUSH Campus Ministries have voted via phone and have decided collectively to rename RUSH Campus Ministries to RUSH Collegiate Ministries. The name change comes amid a recent email from RUSH Campus Ministries out of the State of North Carolina. The members of that organization thought we were associated/affiliated with them. To avoid further issues that may arise Rev. Ozell Pace Jr., the President of RCM made a motion that the ministry change its name. He stated, "We could possibly see legal action taken against us for the utilization of this name therefore we must take the proper steps to end the situation before it occurs". Other name suggestions were RUSH College Ministries, RUSH University Ministries, RUSH Ministries and RUSH Collegiate Ministries. 80% of the leaders were in favor of RUSH Collegiate Ministries with RUSH College Ministries coming in with 60%. Leaders also state that more important news is to come about RUSH Collegiate Ministries and its theme for Fall 2012 is, "Leaving A Mark That Can't Be Erased".
